Our rehabilitation staff is dedicated to helping patients become more functional and independent. All our physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists are licensed by the State of New Jersey. Therapists work within our interdisciplinary team model to provide coordinated and compassionate clinical care in the home setting.

Therapy begins with an evaluation that includes patient history and examination to measure the patient s current abilities. Therapy goals are discussed with patients and caregivers in order to determine a treatment plan. Therapists inform patients and caregivers ways to stay safe and instruct them in activities or exercises to do in between therapy visits.

The VNA Rehabilitation Department also provides community outreach presentations such as our "COACH" to Prevent Falls program to church, civic, residential and other organizations.
