The VNA of Mercer County is the oldest and one of the largest providers of home health and hospice care serving the Greater Mercer County region. VNA is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and certified to provide Medicare/Medicaid home health and hospice services. We are nationally accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) because of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in patient care. Founded in 1938, the VNA is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing the community.
We consider it a privilege to provide home health and hospice services to you and your family. With more than 70 years of experience in Mercer County, our staff has a unique understanding of the health care needs of our communities and extensive expertise in accessing and coordinating available resources for our patients. The VNA of Mercer County has deep and lasting roots in the communities we serve, we're not just branches.
Throughout our history VNA has served patients with a wide variety of care needs whether recovering from an acute illness or injury, experiencing a decline in health, learning to manage a chronic illness, or needing symptom management and comfort measures for a terminal illness for which a cure is no longer possible. Over the years, VNA has adapted to changes in our environment and incorporated best practices in technology and clinical practice that make it possible for more patients to be cared for in their own home.
The VNA has been part of many generations of Mercer County lives and we are thankful for your continued support. In this time of unprecedented change, the VNA of Mercer County remains constant in our commitment to provide compassionate, progressive home health and hospice care promoting the independence and dignity of the patients and families we serve.
Our staff are experts in home healthcare and hospice; it's all we do!
